How long does it take to complete the background check?

Typically, it can take anywhere from 10-15 minutes to complete the form. If you have your valid pieces of identification readily available, you will be able to work through the form seamlessly.

How long until I receive my background check?

The time it takes to receive your Certified Criminal Background Check in as little is subject to what might be found on your record, successfully providing information to identify yourself, and the flux of national holidays. Depending on these variables, it can take up to 72-hours or more to receive your background check.

What type of questions do I have to answer?

The form is comprised of two sections. The first section asks standard personal information, including, name, birthdate, and address history. The second section asks four questions to verify your identity against credit profile. You will never be asked to provide your SIN.

Will submitting my information impact my credit score?

Absolutely not. Completing a criminal background check will not impact your credit score, nor will it show as a check in your credit history.
